Queen of France - As In RebekkaMaria
I bought the album Queen of France by As In RebekkaMaria yesterday. I've heard about the band over the internet, more specific Last.fm. So I bought thier album Queen of France in the local record-store in pure curiousity. I went home and smacked it in the stereo. The first thing you will notice is the singer Rebekka Maria's voice, getting blown right in your head, followed by sweet synth, that gives you curiousity and hunger for more immediately. The record have an overall convincing Electronic fell to it, But contains a sort of acoustic tuch. The way Rebekka Maria's high and though soft voice plays with the synth-sound is pretty amaizing, and the backing Fender Stratocaster Single-Coil sound adds the final touch.
A bloody brillant record if you ask me.
